Ten Commandments
God's Universal Commandments of Moral and Social (Page 1)
Psalms 103:20 God does offer mankind salvation so they can utilize the tools of righteousness that He provided which will bring man back to their original created state of righteousness for His Eternal Kingdom. God's Universal Commandments are His Set Standard of Good and Righteousness for all mankind to follow upon wayward planetary societies in the universe, to achieve a successful outcome.
Isaiah 49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. Jeremiah 4:6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction. Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. There is no need for a legal system of moral and social values, if sin or disregard for God does not exist. Planet earth has become known as a wayward planetary society within God's Heavenly universe. Earth became known as a wayward planet due to the sin unto death (shedding of blood) that took place when Cain slew his brother Abel.
Genesis 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
Once sin enters the world and becomes most rampant upon a planet, though not impossible, it becomes hard to escape from becoming soiled by the fruits (sin) of the wayward planet. After physical birth, most all individuals upon a wayward planetary societies do eventually partake of the world's fruits (sin). They fall short of the glory God, and need to be Saved from the destruction of their chosen sin.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Wayward individuals are imperfect. Anything wayward individuals do devise as law will be also imperfect which means it can only be temporarily successful. The end results will be failure and destruction. The moral and social standards of good that wayward individuals do establish will only treat the results of sinfulness, not treat the cause of sinfulness. God's moral and social set standard of Good (Commandments) does treat the cause of sinfulness.
Deuteronomy 10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
1 Kings 3:14 And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days. Proverbs 4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Morality is the thing that:
• Does set and direct the social climate for intellectual individuals.
• Does distinguish and set individuals apart from the mannerisms of the other creatures (non-intellectual) upon the planet. • Does allow for the direction of all intellect given and gained to become more appropriately used, suitable or functional. • Does allow for the existence of society to follow pathways of true growth which does benefit the whole of its populace, rather than part. • Does allow for truth to exist most fully. Moral disorder does destroy babies, individuals, families, communities and worlds. Moral disorder does seduce, dictate and dominate an individual's value of true and pure Good, and higher intellect. God knew wayward individuals would be in need of moral and social mandates of Good and Righteousness before they completely destroy themselves. He knew wayward individuals needed guidelines and boundaries to see the reality of sin, and failures within sin. Guidelines and boundaries to distinguish Right from wrong. Wayward individuals do become blinded to moral and social understandings within their existence. God's Commandments are a given aid for blindness unto God and His Good. God knows what works for His creation of Children to become successful, so He provides the needed tools for wayward individuals to overcome sin so they can become true Sons of God. God did call on Abraham to begin this endeavor within His planned workings on earth to eliminate sin and save wayward individuals from the destruction of sin.
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Genesis 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Abraham is the father of Good and Righteousness Faith. He did prove his righteousness unto God by obeying God's Voiced Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments before they were even written by His Finger, and given to the Hebrews.
Genesis 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Galatians 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. God does establish and introduce a deeper understanding of sin with the giving of the Ten Commandments. God's Law of Good and Righteousness for all to live by for a successful outcome unto Eternal Living Life. God does Personally give to Moses Tablets of Stone which He does Personally inscribe Ten Commandments. God use the writing skills of Moses (from Egyptian Education) to form a foundation which surrounds the obedience to those Commandments, to allow individuals to sight their inabilities to distinguish the things of God and Good that are not destructive from the things of evil and sin which are most destructive, because many have greatly enhanced their abilities to sin. They are given for the purpose of making known to the planet's inhabitants Ten simple mandates to distinguish what is sin in their eyes from what God knows to be the existence and reality of sin that will surely destroy them. God does introduce His Commandments to form structure where structure has become compromised, weakened or broken down. God's given guidelines/directions (Commandments of Good) are necessary for a successful, positive outcome, and for the future existence of individuals upon wayward planetary societies. God's Ten Commandments are meant to be a focal point to guide mankind in learning all about God, His Good, themselves, sin, and their surroundings. The Ten Commandments basically distinguish the reality of Good. An individual cannot break one of the Ten and say that they are actually Good, or had Good intentions. If an individual lies, cheats friends, family or on spouse, dishonor their parents, or steal etc., then how can they say they are Good? If an individual calls evil Good, or calls Good evil, then they don't know God or His Good. If an individual hates God, then they also hate Good, because God is all Good.
James 2:10-11 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
God does establishes His Ten Commandments in written scripture so to be used as a foundation to allow all nations and inhabitants (besides the Chosen People) the ability to sight:
• The moral and social successes which God brought upon those individuals and nations that kept and followed His Ten Commandments.
• The moral and social failures faced by those individuals and nations that ignored or overlooked His Ten Commandments. If God did not establish His Ten Commandments upon this (or any other) wayward planet: First The Promise He did make to Abraham would of still occurred, yet its fulfillment would have been undertaken by God much more differently, and less benefits would have been produced for Gentiles in gain or glory. Secondly The Gentile Nations on the planet would have had:
• No real standard by which to know what Good and evil is.
Though the many Gentile Nations on the planet would have survived for a time, but their existence would of ceased to slowly exist on the planet, because they lacked the understanding of God, and His Good needed to fill their Souls, and they would have destroyed their selves through their sin.• No vehicle by which to be able to understand right from wrong. • No way to exact social or moral undertakings which do govern individual desire and behavior enough to benefit long-term individual or communal survival. • No avenue by which to attain any Goodly ability that can enable the individual to become a Son of God. Thank God for His Chosen People and Nation, and their bringing forth the Holy Scripture for the world to sight and learn from. Any planetary society whose individuals have allowed themselves to fall-prey-to sin do also prove to be unable to develop enough Moral and Social understanding on their own to surround them with a Goodly enough mannerism to be able to know or attain the needed tools to be successful:
• At becoming truly able to surround themselves with a Godly mannerism.
• At becoming truly able to attain deep enough knowledge of existence to afford themselves long-term survival in the universe. • At becoming truly able to attain long-term existence in the universe. • At becoming truly able to be useful in aiding or assisting God's planned workings upon their planet, so they can aid and assist God's planned workings elsewhere in the universe. When individuals do choose to reject or disregard God's Ten Commandments, they become led by sin on pathways which they become:
• Less able to accord actual personal social skills that are necessary to attain a successful outcome of their existence.
And have to settle for:• Less able to accord actual communal skills that are necessary to attain a successful outcome of their existence. • Less able to accord actual moral skills which they need for a successful outcome of their existence. • Less able to have a moral or social standard that they can follow for a successful outcome of their existence. • Less able to truly care whether or not God exists.
• Individual social skills that hide the Good needed to attain a successful outcome of their existence.
• Communal moral and social skills that neglect the Good needed to attain a successful outcome of their existence. • Moral and social skills which encourage demise, disregard, and even disrespect of individuals, gender, and human existence enough that successful outcomes of their existence becomes impossible. • Ignoring of demises and destructions that their evil and sin has caused for them to suffer. Any personal and social disassociation or neglect of the Lord God's given Commandments always results in grave losses of moral and social attitudes personally or socially upon wayward planetary societies. Keeping the Ten Commandments is of moral and social betterment for Good, as opposed to Satanic and ungodly wrongs.
Deuteronomy 10:13 To keep the commandments of God, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Breaking the Ten Commandments is disrespecting the Lord God and oneself (Imaged created). Breaking the Lord God's Commandments is breaking life itself, by wasting the life and love God gave. Without the Lord's help and His Commandments upon any wayward planetary society, the only hope for one's future is Satan's wickedness and animalistic mannerisms. Satan's wickedness and animalistic mannerisms leads to destruction. It doesn't take a genius to sight the failures within sin or the ungodliness on this wayward planet. Wayward individuals always fall in the direction of demeaning moral and social levels. Eventually lowering their selves to become equal, or no different than the animal kingdom (animalism). They ignore the fact, or lose sight of their specialty of being created in the Lord's Personal Image of Good. Any ungodly mannerisms does demean, degrade, devalue, dishonor and disrespect an individual's given Physical and Spiritual Image. If the communities of individuals upon this wayward planet would have listened and obeyed the Lord's Commandments in the first place, they would not have gotten to the point of animalization, socialization and demoralization which brings on destruction. Any individual that accepts sin, condones sin, or the breakage of the Lord's Commandments in any way, shape or form will also easily accept other ungodliness as well. They are putting themselves on the same level of the breaker and condoner. If an individual accepts sin, condones sin or the breakage of the Lord's given Commandments on their own planet, they will accept and condone ungodliness on other wayward planetary societies. If an individual is not strong enough to follow and apply Ten simple moral and social mandates to their short-term lives on earth, the Lord knows they will not anywhere else in His universe for long-term (Eternally), nor will He allow them to try. God has no use for individuals that cannot overcome the sin and evils upon their own planet. He will not allow sin to corrupt His vast and limitless universe, nor to destroy all He loves and that love Him. Those wayward individuals that choose to ignore, distort, not follow or apply the Lord God's given Commandments completely and fully to their lives will cause a relationship breakage between them and God, eventually and ultimately causing self-destruction. The Lord has seen to it through His Chosen People that everything that was needed for sighting His Salvation has been established for all individuals and their communities on earth. He takes the time to fully define, encourage and sustain His Chosen People as a most special community that can behold a firm foundation spiritually, physically and prophetically in their understanding of the Lord God and His given Commandments. With these endeavors all firmly set into place, the Lord God can then, and only then fulfill the entirety of all that He has done upon the planet, especially through that Chosen People in a full exhibit of His given Salvation by creating a physical body (Jesus Christ) for Himself to teach and physically show the Chosen People (first) and the Gentiles how to overcome sin through His Ten Commandments.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
The Ten Commandments are still in tack, and have to a deep degree been shown forth in most all religions.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Be of good cheer, because all can overcome this ungodly world, if they choose to truly follow Him into an existence of Good and Righteousness now and forevermore!God does establish the Physical Realty of His Commandments. God, His Good and Righteousness Physically displayed for all mankind to Physically sight and follow. God did Physically show all mankind upon this wayward planet what it takes to become a son of God being a Son of God Himself (Jesus Christ) to follow.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. 1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: The Son of God did demonstrate Personally, as an Example how to apply His moral and social standards of Good correctly to their lives by fulfilling the law, and so can anyone else upon the planet that truly seeks to become a Godly Son of God themselves. Jesus (the Son of God) did prove to those that seek to become a Son of God that it is not hard to be and choose Good, and we can keep His Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments to overcome sin. The law does reveal social and moral failures of Good. If there was no law to reveal failures, then how can God's Saving Grace be applied?
Romans 7:7-9 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
Grace is the mechanism that is applied to the existence of wayward individuals which have become dysfunctional and distorted through the usage of sin. The mechanism which is applied to return the state of affairs back to the original place and condition that was enjoyed before the occurrence of the sin took place. It is through the failures of the law that individuals can sight their need for God's Saving Grace! How many times did the Lord Voice throughout the scriptures (OT and NT) to keep His Commandments?
Proverbs 4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
Yet many are not taught, or continue to ignore the importance of the Ten Commandments. They choose to not follow nor adhere to God's Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments that does overcome sin. And they teach others to do the same. Woe unto those that teach such! They will be called the least in the Kingdom of God that they will never live to see ("keep the commandments, and live" and "if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments".).Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Mark 10:17-19 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Matthew 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
The Ten Commandments is the essence of the Lord God's Good and Heavenly Order! ******************************** Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: ******************************** Exodus 20:3-17 • Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. • Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. • Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. • Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. • Thou shalt not kill. • Thou shalt not commit adultery. • Thou shalt not steal. • Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. • Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. |
