The Law of Good & Righteousness The Ten Commandments An Individual has been afforded the freedom of choice to corrupt their spirit again with sin after Christ has cleansed and purified their spirit from sin. If sin does Not become repented of and overcome, this will lead an individual to the second death; death of their spirit and soul. Second death only occurs when the spirit is too weak from sin to return to the Heavenly Father upon physical death. God does offer mankind salvation so they can utilize the tools of righteousness that He provided that can/will bring man back to their original created state of righteousness for His Eternal Kingdom. The tools that Jesus Physically brought, taught, and displayed for all the families of earth. He was man's Physical Example of what it takes to become a son of God, being a Son of God Himself. The LORD did come down from Heaven to Physically speak to Israel of the failures of their religious leaders, of the knowledge of His Covenant, the Ten Commandments, and Salvation that wasn't being taught to the Chosen People.
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
If the Chosen People were taught to follow God's Covenant, the Ten Commandments (Law of Good & Righteousness), there would have been no need for sacrifice, nor the 603 judgments. The Chosen People would have been a Holy and Righteous People.
Exodus 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. Psalms 57:3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
Exodus 21:1 Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them. The Ten Commandments are God's Set Standard of Good & Righteousness that does overcome sin.
Isaiah 49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
Most upon the planet do Not know, nor do they understand the Power of Good that can destroy all sin, and its evils. Many do Not know or ignore the fact that Jesus (the LORD) wrote the Ten Commandments with His Holy Finger, which makes them Holy.
Jeremiah 4:6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.
Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Paul speaks of two different laws throughout his writings. -1- God's Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments. -2- The sacrificial law (law of sin and death). Each law needs to be understood and applied correctly to Paul's writings, and Not to be combined into one law because of lack of understanding.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law (sacrificial law of sin and death), but under grace.
Romans 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Exodus 21:1 Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.
The 603 Mosaic laws of judgments, and the 10 Commandments are separate, and not one set of 613 laws. The LORD kept them separate so man would always understand the importance of the Ten Commandments. -The Mosaic laws of judgment were place in a side compartment of the Ark of the Covenant. -The Ten Commandments were place under the mercy seat inside the ark with Aaron's rod, and the golden pot of manna.
Deuteronomy 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
Hebrews 9:4-5 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. Exodus 40:20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark: Jesus did put an end to the law of righteousness through animal sacrifice. He became the Ultimate Sacrifice.
Romans 10:3-4 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
All upon the planet are under the law of Grace, the Ten Commandments, which were provided for all the families of earth to Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. obtain a successful outcome, if they utilize them. The Ten Commandments are man's measuring stick of Righteousness that individuals are to follow, and live by for a successful outcome in becoming a son of God likened to Jesus; to be found worthy of God's Righteous Kingdom.
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 1 Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory. 2 Thessalonians 1:5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: 2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: The Chosen People were at the mercy of their religious leaders for learning the scriptures, because they didn't have access to scriptures like man does today. Man today is without excuse, and are held to a higher accountability standard, because they do have access to the scriptures. The Chosen People were Not being taught the importance of the Ten Commandments, but instead were being lead to believe continual sacrificing was the way to God's forgivensss and righteousness, rather than being taught to keep the Ten Commandments, and to stop sinning, like Moses taught! (Deuteronomy 31:29- Moses warned they would corrupt themselves after his death.)
Deuteronomy 31:29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
Much of the same is being taught by today's religious leaders and others, it's okay to continually crucify/sacrifice Christ afresh.Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. Ezekiel 18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. Ezekiel 33:13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Many are being taught indirectly today that there is no punishment for sin and it's okay to remain in a lukewarm state, because they are saved. It's no different from what the Chosen People were taught and lead to believe by their religious leaders.
Isaiah 9:16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
Hebrews 3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. Jesus Christ ended the law of righteousness that the Chosen People were lead to believe would be obtained through animal sacrificing.
Romans 10:3-4 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Continual sacrifice did teach the Chosen People to serve God with their sin. Many times they sacrificed for the same sin over and over again, rather than being taught to keep and live by the Ten Commandments that does teach man how to overcome sin. Many are making the same mistakes, because continual sacrifice is being taught indirectly to many today.
Jeremiah 33:18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
Isaiah 43:24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities. Ezekiel 13:22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life: Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
The fear of God was Not being taught to the Chosen People, nor is it being taught today.
Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Jeremiah 44:9-10 Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem? They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers. Psalms 36:1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. Proverbs 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: Romans 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes. The religious leaders of the Chosen People were afraid of the People;
• They were afraid what the People might do if they found out about the power and greed of their religious leaders.
Matthew 21:12-13 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
• They were afraid what the People might do if they found out their teachings were not from God, but false, and their teachings were being used to control the People.
Matthew 23:13-15 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made,
ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Matthew 23:25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Matthew 23:29-31 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Isaiah 43:23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense. Jeremiah 7:22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: Hebrews 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. Isaiah 9:16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. The Chosen People caused their sin to be remember through continual sacrifice for sin, rather than being taught by their religious leaders how to overcome sin, and taught to stop sinning.
Ezekiel 21:24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
Hebrews 10:1-3 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. What covenant became New?
Exodus 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Jesus Christ became the New Wine.Isaiah 24:5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
How did the Old Covenant become a New Covenant? The very same Good and Righteousness of God beheld within the Ten Commandments took on Flesh as a Physical Example to follow after. A Way that physical man physically sight, and relate to. Jesus Christ Physically brought, taught, and displayed God's Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments in His fulfilling the Law of Good and Righteousness, which He did throughout His three and a half year ministry, being man's Example to follow after. The Ten Commandments of Righteousness that the LORD wrote with His Holy Finger, which made them Holy.
Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Jeremiah 31:22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man. Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. The very same Spirit that wrote the Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments with His Holy Finger, IS Jesus Christ. God's Good and Righteousness is beheld within the Ten Commandments and Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God,
and
the faith of Jesus.
Many individuals, communities, and nations upon this planet stand on the Holy Commandments of God as a foundation of Righteousness, as it should be for all upon the planet.
Deuteronomy 6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
Psalms 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. Romans 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Romans 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Christian's are to establish God's Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments in the mind's and heart's of individuals upon the planet, just as Christ did being man's Example.
Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
The Ten Commandments can Not become written upon an individual's heart if they are not lived and lived by. Nothing can become written upon an individual's heart if not lived and lived by, Not even one's Faith.
Proverbs 3:1-3 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
Proverbs 7:2-3 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. 2 Corinthians 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. God would Not ask anything of His Children that they cannot handle or accomplish. God would Not ask His Children to keep and live by His Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments, if it was impossible. If an individual thinks or believes different, then they don't truly know the Righteous Good and Just God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Ezekiel 3:21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Jesus let it be known there were individuals that were Righteousness (and Good) of their own choosing. "True fruits of the Spirit, such as love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law". "The righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit".John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. 1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. 1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Psalms 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Luke 1:5-6 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. Mark 10:18-20 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Proverbs 4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Romans 13:8-10 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Man can do nothing without the knowledge of God and His Righteousness to be fruitful.
John 15:4-5 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Matthew 7:17-19 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Those born of Him "doeth righteousness". The righteousness He taught and Physically displayed to follow after.
Psalms 106:3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
Many are lead to believe imputed righteousness is what makes a holy and righteous person once they become saved without any requirement of living a holy and righteous life. 1 John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. 1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth Not righteousness is Not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. The natural righteousness that man was initially created with/in is imputed to them through the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments that Jesus Christ Physically brought, taught, and displayed for all the families of earth to physically learn, sight, and relate to being their Physical Example. A Physical Example of what it takes to become a son of God, being a Son of God Himself. Individuals must walk in the Spirit of Righteousness of their own will to partake of the divine nature.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Psalms 18:23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure. 1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 2 Timothy 2:20-21 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Proverbs 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul. 1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Jesus Himself spoke to a certain ruler on what it takes to inherit eternal life. He lacked the fruit of the Spirit, true heartfelt love/charity for his neighbor.
Luke 18:18-22 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
Paul said, "if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself".
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Jesus was asked, "Master, which is the great commandment in the law"? Jesus never said, those that follow me are not under the law, they don't have to keep the commandments or that He fulfilled the law for them.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Jesus showed man by Example that they too can fulfil the law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments.Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. He made it known that the teachings of the prophets and the law are based on and/or take their meaning from two commandments of love.
Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. If you truly love the Lord thy God,
• You Will Not have any other gods.
• You Will Not make any graven images. • You Will Not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain. • You Will remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy. • You Will honor thy father and thy mother. • You Will Not kill. • You Will Not commit adultery. • You Will Not steal. • You Will Not bear false witness against thy neighbor. • You Will Not covet.
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 22:13-14 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. The LORD did establish a holy people unto himself, if they kept the commandments of the LORD God and walk in his ways.
Deuteronomy 28:9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
The Lord shall also establish a holy people unto Himself of those adopted and graffed into the family of God, "if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways."
Romans 8:14-15 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Romans 11:16-17 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: The LORD does bless those that keep His commandments and curse those that do not.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Jeremiah 11:1-4 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem; And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God: The book of Acts tells us Paul still upheld the Sabbath after the crucifixion.
Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
Matthew tells to pray "that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day":
Matthew 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Paul teaches in Colossians, "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days":
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
If God's Ten Commandments are not as important as some have come to believe or lead to believe, why did Jesus spend so much time continually risking His life to fulfill, and teach everyone to keep the Ten Commandments?
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mark 10:17-19 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Both Jews and Christians have been taught and mislead into believing it is impossible to keep the Ten Commandments. Satan has been very subtle, and has deceived many into believing this very serious lie. How long will you listen to the whispers of Satan? How long will you ignore and reject God's given tools of Good and Righteousness that does teach you to overcome sin for Eternal Living Life? The Sabbath is the most controvercial of all the commandments. Is the Sabbath to be observed on Saturday or Sunday? Christians do rest and keep Holy the Sabbath on the day of life and resurrection (Sunday), not on the day of death (Saturday) when Christ was still in the grave.
Leviticus 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of
the sabbath days
:
God commanded, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy". It was man and religious leaders that took it upon themselves to attached all the burdens and restrictions to the Sabbath, not God. We live in a society today where individuals have to work on Saturday and Sunday to support their family, or for doing Good within their communities; such as saving lives, caring for the sick, protecting communities and its individuals, etc. No matter the situation, all are commanded to set aside a Sabbath day of rest from the world and its ways. It's spiritually important to fellowship (if possible), spend time with God, and family. Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. To Truly Follow Jesus Christ is to follow God's Good and Righteousness! Salvation is the benefit of following God's Good and Righteousness! Eternal Salvation is the reward for abiding in the Ten Commandments now and forevermore! ***************** Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us. Psalms 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. |
