The Law of Good & Righteousness

The Ten Commandments

Righteousness does destroy all sin!
God in Physical Form (Jesus Christ) does offer the same opportunity to all mankind to become saved from the destruction of sin through their confession and repentance of their own partaken sin(s). After obtaining forgiveness and salvation from God, it is man's choice whether to continue in their given salvation by keeping themselves cleansed and purified with righteousness from the sin that is in the world. Or man can choose to corrupt again what Christ has cleansed and purified with sin which will lead to man's second death (death of the spirit and soul).
God does offer mankind salvation so they can utilize the tools of righteousness that He provided which will bring man back to their original created state of righteousness for His Eternal Kingdom.

The first thing I will hear from Christian readers, or Christians I speak with is, "we are not under the law, but under Grace" and/or "We are under the New Covenant", yet they lack understanding of what that truly means.

Christians are lead to ignore the facts within scriptures that there are two (2) covenant laws.
The covenant of day (Good and Righteousness- the Ten Commandments) and the covenant of night (sin and death).
Jeremiah 33:20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
1 Thessalonians 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Paul speaks of two different laws throughout his writings.
-1- God's Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments!
-2- The sacrificial law (law of sin and death)!
Each law needs to be understood and applied correctly to Paul's writings, and NOT to be combined into one law.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law (sacrificial law of sin and death), but under grace.
Romans 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Jesus put an end to the law of righteousness through animal sacrifice! He became the Ultimate Sacrifice.
Romans 10:3-4 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

The 603 Mosaic Laws of Judgments were given to the Chosen People for the things they were doing to break the Ten Commandments. If the Chosen People kept and lived by the Ten Commandments, there would have been no need for the Mosaic Laws of Judgments.
Exodus 21:1 Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.

The 603 Mosaic laws and the 10 Commandments are separate and not one set of 613 laws! The Mosaic laws were place in a side compartment of the Ark of the Covenant. The Ten Commandments was place inside the ark with the rod and the manna under the mercy seat.
Deuteronomy 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
Hebrews 9:4-5 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
Exodus 40:20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

The Ten Commandments are man's measuring stick to God's Righteousness for man to follow and live by, to be found worthy!
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
1 Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
2 Thessalonians 1:5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

The Chosen People were at the mercy of their religious leaders for learning the scriptures, because they didn't have access to scriptures like man does today. Man today is without excuse, and is held to a higher accountability standard.
The Chosen People were NOT being taught the importance of the Ten Commandments, but instead were being lead to believe continual sacrificing was the way to God's forgivensss and righteousness.
Much of what is being taught today by the religious leaders (sacrificing Christ afresh)!
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Ezekiel 18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
Ezekiel 33:13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
Jesus Christ ended the law of righteousness that the Chosen People were lead to believe would be obtained through animal sacrificing.
Romans 10:3-4 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Continual sacrifice taught the Chosen People to serve God with their sin. Many times they sacrificed for the same sin over and over again, rather than being taught to keep and live by the Ten Commandments that does teach man how to overcome sin.
Much of what is being taught today!
Jeremiah 33:18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
Isaiah 43:24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
Ezekiel 13:22  Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
No fear of God then and now!
Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Jeremiah 44:9-10 Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem? They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
Psalms 36:1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
Proverbs 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
Romans 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

The Chosen People caused their sin to be remember through continual sacrifice for sin, rather than being taught by their religious leaders how to overcome sin, and to stop sinning.
Ezekiel 21:24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
Hebrews 10:1-3 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

What covenant became New?
Exodus 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Isaiah 24:5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
Jesus Christ is the New Wine!
Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

How did the Old Covenant become a New Covenant?
The very same Good and Righteousness of God beheld within the Ten Commandments took on Flesh!
Jesus Christ Physically taught and displayed God's Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments in His fulfilling the Law of Good and Righteousness, which He did throughout His three and a half year ministry, being man's example to follow after.
Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Jeremiah 31:22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
The very same Spirit that wrote the Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments with His Holy Finger, IS Jesus Christ!
God's Good and Righteousness is beheld within the Ten Commandments and Jesus Christ!

The Messiah, Jesus Christ brought God's Set Standard Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments to the Gentiles!
Isaiah 42:6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
Exodus 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Isaiah 49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
The Messiah came to confirm the covenant for seven (7) weeks, but was cut off (crucified) in the middle of the week. The Messiah ministry ended in the middle of the week (seven years). His ministry was three and a half years. He caused sacrificing and the oblation to cease, because He became the Ultimate sacrifice.
Daniel 9:25-27 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Ezekiel 39:17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

Did you ever stop to think what this world would be like if the Lord did not bring His Ten Commandments to the Gentiles? If the Lord did not bring His Law of Good and Righteousness to the world, sin would have spread like wild fire, and man would have been destroyed completely a very long time ago! Many individuals, communities, and nations upon this planet stand on the Holy Commandments of God as a foundation of Righteousness!
Deuteronomy 6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
Psalms 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for
all thy commandments are righteousness.
Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Christian's are to establish God's Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments in the mind's and heart's of individuals upon the planet, just as Christ being man's Example did!
Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
The Ten Commandments cannot become written upon hearts, if they are not utilized and lived by.
Proverbs 3:1-3 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
Proverbs 7:2-3 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.
2 Corinthians 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God;
not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Certain Christian's today are being taught indirectly to use the Crucifixion, and Grace of God as a vehicle to sin (once saved always saved). They are taught to be weak Christians! "No one can be good, only God" and/or "No one is sinless, nor can become sinless, only God/Christ".
1 John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
God came down from heaven in the Guise of a Son of God (Jesus Christ), to teach man the correct Way to God, His Good and Righteousness!
Jesus Christ is man's Example of what it takes to become a son of God, being a Son of God Himself. He taught and Physically showed man how to overcome sin. Man is to follow after His Example.
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Jesus Himself said, "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Jesus let it be known there were individuals that were righteousness (and good) of their own choosing.
Luke 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
Jesus never said no one is, or cannot become good. Jesus (the man) was saying no one can measure up to the Good and Righteous that is God.
Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: BUT if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
God does not ask anything of His children that they cannot handle, including keeping and living by His Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments to overcome sin. Is it impossible to not partake of sin of sin whatsoever? Not according to scriptures! You will not, nor want to partake of sin, if you are truly born of God!
Ezekiel 3:21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

The Good and Righteousness of God is Pure and Holy.
Only Jesus Christ is Pure, Holy, Sinless and equal to God, to take on the Power of God's Own Righteousness!
Isaiah 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
No man is qualified to put claims on the Powerful Righteousness of Christ!
Whose Righteousness was Pure, Holy, and Sinless to take on this whole wayward world?
Can any man fill those Righteous shoes of perfection? No! Man can only follow after His Righteousness!
Mark 1:7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Man can do nothing without the knowledge of God and His Righteousness to be fruitful.
John 15:4-5 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Matthew 7:17-19 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Those born of Him "doeth righteousness"! The righteousness He taught and Physically displayed to follow after!
Psalms 106:3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
1 John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth NOT righteousness is NOT of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Many are lead to believe imputed righteousness is what makes a holy and righteous person once they become saved, without any requirement of living a holy and righteous life. The natural righteousness that man was initially created with/in is imputed to them through the Ten Commandments, that Jesus Christ taught and Physically displayed, if they truly follow after, now and forevermore.
Individuals must walk in the Spirit of Righteousness of their own will, to partake of the divine nature.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Psalms 18:23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
2 Timothy 2:20-21 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
Proverbs 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Jesus Himself spoke to a certain ruler on what it takes to inherit eternal life...
Luke 18:18-22 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

Paul said, "if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself".
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Jesus was asked, "Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Did Jesus in any way, shape, or form say those that follow me are not under the law, they don't have to keep the commandments, or that He fulfilled the law for them?
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
No, He did not! Instead, He showed man by Example that they too can fulfil the law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments!
He made it known that the teachings of the prophets and the law are based on, and/or take their meaning from two commandments of love!
Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
If you truly love the Lord thy God:
• You WILL NOT have any other gods.
• You WILL NOT make any graven images.
• You WILL NOT take the name of the LORD thy God in vain.
• You WILL remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy.
• You WILL honor thy father and thy mother.
• You WILL NOT kill.
• You WILL NOT commit adultery.
• You WILL NOT steal.
• You WILL NOT bear false witness against thy neighbor.
• You WILL NOT covet.
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, AND have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 22:13-14 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

The LORD did establish a holy people unto himself, if they kept the commandments of the LORD God, and walk in his ways.
Deuteronomy 28:9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
The Lord shall also establish a holy people unto Himself of those adopted and graffed into the family of God, "if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways."
Romans 8:14-15 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Romans 11:16-17 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

The LORD does bless those that keep His commandments, and curse those that do not.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Jeremiah 11:1-4 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem; And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:

The book of Acts tells us Paul still upheld the Sabbath after the crucifixion.
Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
Matthew tells to pray "that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:"
Matthew 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Paul teaches in Colossians, "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:"
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

If God's Ten Commandments are not as important as some have come to believe, or lead to believe, why did Jesus spend so much time continually risking His life to fulfill and teach everyone to keep the Ten Commandments?
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mark 10:17-19 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Both Jews and Christians have been taught and mislead into believing it is impossible to keep the Ten Commandments.
Satan has been very subtle, and has deceived many into believing this very serious lie!
How long will you listen to the whispers of Satan?
How long will you ignore and reject God's given tools of Good and Righteousness that does teach you to overcome sin?

Sabbath

The Sabbath is the most controvercial of all the commandments! Is the Sabbath to be observed on Saturday, or Sunday?

Christians do rest and keep Holy the Sabbath on the day of life and resurrection (Sunday), not on the day of death (Saturday) when Christ was still in the grave.
Leviticus 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day (New Beginning) shall be a sabbath.
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of
the sabbath days :

The Sabbath itself did not change. Sabbath will always be a day of rest from the world and its wayward ways, to spend time with family praising, worshipping God, His Good and Righteousness.
God commanded, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy". It was man/religious leaders that took it upon themselves to attached all the burdens and restrictions to the Sabbath, not God.

We live in a society today where individuals have to work on Saturday and Sunday to support their family, or for doing Good within their communities; such as saving lives, caring for the sick, protecting communities and its individuals, etc.
No matter the situation, all are commanded to set aside a Sabbath day of rest from the world and its ways to fellowship (if possible), spend time with God, and family.
Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Jesus Christ is the LORD God's Physical and Visual Good and Righteousness!
To Follow Jesus Christ, is to follow God's Good and Righteousness!
Salvation is the benefit of following God's Good and Righteousness!
Eternal Salvation is the reward for abiding in the Ten Commandments now and forevermore!
