The Law of Good & Righteousness

The Ten Commandments

Romans 2:13
For not the hearers of the law are just before
God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, the Ten Commandments... the LORD God's Law of Good & Righteousness.
Jeremiah 11:3 And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant,
Exodus 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

The first thing I will hear from Christian readers, or Christians I speak with is, "we are not under the law, but under Grace".
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law (of sacrifice), but under grace.

Christians are lead to ignore the facts within scriptures that there are two (2) covenant laws. The Covenant of day, for His Light (Good) to shine in man. The Covenant of night, that brings the darkness of sin and death unto man.
Jeremiah 33:20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
(Good and Righteousness generally does take place in the day. Sin and death generally does take place in the night.)
Galatians 4:22-24 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
Galatians 4:30-31 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
Exodus 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
-1- The Law of sin and death. The law of sacrifice was forced upon the Chosen People by their religious leaders for sin. Many times for the same sin over and over again, rather than being taught to overcome sin. They were forced to sacrifice even when they were good. Greed and power lead the religious leaders to ignore and to teach the People to ignore the importance of the Ten Commandments that did overcome sin, after Moses's death.
Deuteronomy 31:29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
Romans 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Romans 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from
the law of sin and death.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law (of sacrifice), but under grace.
-2- The Law of Good and Righteousness. The same Law of Good and Righteousness that Jesus did fulfill, can be fulfilled by anyone, if they truly seek to follow in His Footsteps to Heaven. God's Law of Good and Righteousness offers Life, which Jesus did physically display in His Resurrection. Jesus did teach and showed the Way to all the families of earth, both Jews and Gentiles. God did Personally fulfill His Promise to Abraham.
Deuteronomy 4:13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
Deuteronomy 10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Genesis 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and
in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

The Chosen Nation's People were lead to believe continual sacrificing was the way to the LORD God and His Salvation, even though the LORD God did express many of times he did not desire their sacrificing (Psalms 40:6) but desired for them to stop sinning (Exodus 16:28) and sacrificing the poor animals (Hosea 6:6, Matthew 9:13), to follow His Good and Righteousness within the Ten Commandments. The LORD God wants mankind to serve Him with His Good and Righteousness, and not serve Him with sin through their continual sacrificing (Isaiah 43:24).
The Nation's Chosen People were being taught indirectly by their religious leaders that it's okay to sin, just be sure to sacrifice for forgiveness.
Much like what is being taught today within the Christian communities.
Ezekiel 13:22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
Romans 16:17-18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
2 Peter 2:19-20 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. heed lest he fall.
Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
1 Timothy 1:5-6 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
Continual sacrifice does remember sin, whether it is physical (animals), or spiritual (Christ) sacrifice.
When an individual does willfully sin, they do put Christ back on the cross (spiritually speaking). True repentance with a contrite heart does take Him down.
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

If the Chosen Nation's religious leaders did teach the People to serve God in following and obeying His Commandments as their father Abraham did do, and taught the heathen nations to do so, then God would have attained more Sons of God from upon this wayward planet. But instead, the religious leaders taught the People to serve God with sin through continual sacrifice, rather than teaching them to stop sinning through the following and obeying of His Good and Righteousness found in the Ten Commandments, and Physically display through Jesus Christ.
Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
Psalms 119:73 JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
Malachi 2:7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Christians establish what law? What is the law of God?
Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Romans 7:22 For
I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Romans 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Jesus Himself spoke on what it takes to inherit eternal life...
Mark 10:17-19 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
Luke 18:18-22 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

Paul said, "if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself".
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
We are told his commandments are not to be grievous.
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Instead of hearing and listening to what Jesus Himself Voiced, most choose to believe, follow and teach the commandments of men, because they lack understanding.
Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Colossians 2:22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

Christians are to have the Faith of Abraham. He obeyed the LORD's Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten Commandments before they were even given to the Hebrews.
Genesis 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
Abraham never sacrificed for sin!
Romans 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law (of sacrifice), but through the righteousness of faith.
Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

Many Christians read the word law, and have no understanding which law is being spoken of. Christians are not under the burden of the law of sacrifice, and its (603) judgments (Exodus 21:1) that are related to breaking of the LORD's Law of Commandments. Christians are under the LORD's Grace and Righteousness, that is Jesus Christ, which He did also Physically display to follow.
John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Romans 4:15 Because the law (of sacrifice) worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

The Ten Commandments that God wrote with His very Own Finger, are His Set Standard of Good and Righteousness for all the families of earth to follow and adhere to for eternal living life.
Isaiah 49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
Jeremiah 4:6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.
Genesis 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Individuals need to ask themselves, why did the LORD spend so much time commanding and disciplining the Chosen Nation's People to obey and follow His Ten Commandments that He wrote with His Own finger?
Exodus 16:28 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
Leviticus 22:31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
Deuteronomy 5:10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
1 Kings 3:14 And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.
Proverbs 4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
And, why were these tables of the covenant commanded to be placed in the ark for protection, if they were of little importance?
Exodus 25:16 And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
Hebrews 9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

Since the beginning of man's falling-prey-to sin upon this wayward planet within the universe, the LORD did seek for them to continually follow His Good and Righteousness for a successful outcome.
Genesis 4:6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

The LORD did give Ten simple mandates written by His Own Finger to follow for long-term success. Just Ten, not the 603 judgments given to Moses for the things the People were already doing to break the Ten Commandments.
There would have been no need for the 603 judgments, if the Ten Commandments were kept.
Exodus 21:1 Now these are the judgments which thou shalt set before them.
Just Ten Commandments the LORD did write and give! Yet mankind does find all kinds of excuses not to follow and obey.

Eternal death will follow those that do not keep and adhere to the Ten Commandments. Breaking the Commandments is sin unto death. If you break one, you break them all.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Matthew 5:18-19 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

The LORD does bless those that keep His commandments, and curse those that do not.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Joshua 8:34 And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the law.

The LORD God did explain, expand, and exemplify His Laws of Good and Righteousness in fulfilling prophesy.
Isaiah 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Many mistakenly think and believe that Jesus came to overturn the LORD's holy law and remove it as a standard of guidance and behavior for mankind.
The LORD did come in the flesh to show man how to walk in His Good and Righteousness that is found in the Ten Commandments, and Physically displayed through Jesus Christ.
The motivation of Jesus was to please Father GOD. What Father GOD wanted was most important to Jesus, as it should be for those whom truly love Him.
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
1 Thessalonians 4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Jesus Himself clearly denied that He intended to change any part of the LORD's law. "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets," He said. "I did not come to destroy but to fulfill" (Matthew 5:17).
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Jesus made it clear that He wasn't abolishing any of the LORD's law. Jesus said, Only after everything necessary would come to pass upon this planet would any of the LORD's law pass from existence upon this planet.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
To prevent any possible misunderstanding, He warned those who would try to abolish His law.
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

If you truly love the Lord thy God:
• You WILL NOT have any other gods.
• You WILL NOT make any graven images.
• You WILL NOT take the name of the LORD thy God in vain.
• You WILL remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy.
• You WILL honor thy father and thy mother.
• You WILL NOT kill.
• You WILL NOT commit adultery.
• You WILL NOT steal.
• You WILL NOT bear false witness against thy neighbor.
• You WILL NOT covet.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Can the Lord Jesus Christ make anyone righteous? No!
Individuals must be willing participants. They must want to be righteous with all their heart, soul, and mind.
Jesus Christ is their Example of what it does take to become a son of God, being a Son of God Himself.
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Matthew 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
The LORD does not force anyone to be part of the family nor follow the family rules!

Jesus said, "the whole need not a physician." And, "He came not to call the righteous, but sinners unto repentance." Which does show many have kept the Ten Commandments of Good & Righteousness for eternal living life!
Matthew 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Both Jews and Christians have been taught and mislead into believing it is impossible to keep the Ten Commandments.
I ask, which one or ones do you not want to keep, because none are impossible? God doesn't give more than we can handle!
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Satan has been very subtle, and has deceived many into believing this very serious lie!

Sabbath

The LORD does command thee to keep the Sabbath Day! He is same yesterday, and to day, and for ever!
Deuteronomy 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Jesus (the man) kept His Father's commandments, which included the Sabbath Day.
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
If the LORD God's (10) Ten Commandments are not as important as some have come to believe, then why did Jesus spend so much time continually risking His life to fulfill and teach everyone to keep them?
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Jesus kept the Sabbath Day perfectly, fulfilling the law perfectly. He regularly taught in the synagogues on the Sabbath Day, and habitually went to the synagogue on the Sabbath Day to read the law. Do we truly follow in His footsteps? He is our Example of what it takes to become a son of God, being a Son of God Himself.
He said, "I have kept my Father's commandments," (John 15:10), and these commandments included the Sabbath Day.
Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Luke 4:31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

Jesus is man's Physical Example to follow in all things to become a son of God. Individuals cannot pick and choose the things they want to follow and the things they do not want to follow in Christ.
Jesus said, "Follow me", not follow whatever you choose.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Many Christians observe Sunday as their Sabbath. They celebrate the *New Thing*, a *New Beginning* that was given to mankind to see God, His Love, His Good and Righteousness, and the destruction of sin and its evils.
Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Jeremiah 31:22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
Jesus is the New Thing and the New Wine!
Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
Christians do celebrate and worship on the day of life and resurrection (Sunday), not on the day of death (Saturday) when Christ was in the grave. Sabbath didn't change, it just got a new garment.
Leviticus 23:39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

Sadly we live in a society today where individuals have to work on Saturday and Sunday, but that should not become an excuse. They should still make time for the LORD, and most do not! God knows if an individual is truly trying.
Work on Saturday and Sunday is just another example of God and His GOOD taken out of the world, and it being accepted!

Does an individual truly love the LORD thy God when they cannot even give Him time in a day, or in a week?
If an individual cannot give devoted time to God, to learn about God, and to build a relationship with Him, then how can they give eternity to God.
What an individual sows on earth, so will they sow it heaven!
What value would these individuals be to God, His planned workings, and others throughout the universe.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Matthew 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
Romans 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Psalms 31:23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
Matthew 25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

Individuals can try to justify all they want why they do not keep the Ten commandments, but the fact remains, they were written by the Holy Finger of the LORD, making them also Holy, for all mankind to keep and follow (not just the Chosen Nation).
The Chosen Nation's religious leaders and the People failed at following, keeping, and teaching the rest of the world the importance of the LORD's given Commandments for eternal salvation. So, the LORD Himself did Visit man to teach, show, and prove to mankind how following His Law of Good and Righteousness, the Ten commandments does overcome sin. The proof, and successful end results was Physically displayed in the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Deuteronomy 11:27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:
Deuteronomy 11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
Proverbs 4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.

1 Kings 3:14 And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.
Psalms 81:13 Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
Proverbs 8:32 Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
Malachi 2:9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.
1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Individuals today can follow in the failed footsteps of the Chosen Nation's People (Hebrews/Jews), or they can open their eyes to what the LORD has been doing and offering the sinner from their very beginnings, and adhere to God's Good and Righteousness that is found in His Ten Commandments and Physically display through Lord Jesus Christ!

Jesus Christ is the LORD God's Physical and Visual Good and Righteousness!
To Follow Jesus Christ, is to follow God's Good and Righteousness!
Salvation is the benefit of following God's Good and Righteousness!
Eternal Salvation is the reward for abiding in the Ten Commandments now and forevermore!
